How do you spend your Christmas? Do you stay at home or rather go anywhere? Do you follow Polish traditions of celebrating Christmas?

I always spend christmas at home with my family. I've never gone anywhere for this time. I do follow polish traditions, that's the best thing we haven't got a christmas tree this year because my dad thinks we are too old for it only young children get such things wr..

I always stay at home. On the second day of Christmas my sister and brother with their families come to my house. This is one of rare occasions to meet. I follow Polish traditions at Christmas, apart from having 12 meals - there are only 4 or 5. However, in the future I would like to change something in the way of spending Christmas, for example, go to the mountains and ski there or something like that. Any change would be nice.

Did I eat a lot? not really.
Did I have good time? Could be better.
And the last Question... Family... Just me and my husband.

Well, we have no ordinary Christmas - my husband and I are different religions and to be true I'm not very religious person. Nevertheless, Christmas is my favourite time of the year. When we are in Poland everything looks different but I try to describe our UK traditions.

We always have little Xmas tree (I usually buy potted one with few colourful decorations), send cards to family and close friends and buy presents for each other. During Christmas I always listen to Polish carols.
I can't cook very well so we usually have oven baked stuffed turkey, fried potatoes with gravy and some vegetables for our Christmas dinner.
Sometimes we go to my husband's cousin, which despite being Muslim celebrates Christmas.
I always call my family during Christmas Eve's dinner so I feel like I'm there with them.
Then we simply relax watching telly or movies.
Once we didn't feel like cooking so we ordered Indian take away instead.
