You've got to love Christmas

What does it mean if a men tells a woman " You've got to love Christmas" and he is looking at her as if he was waiting for an answer. It is important to mention that we were not talking about Christmas at all when he told me that. Is it the same as if he asked a question Do you like Christmas? I know that this topic may sound silly, I really don't know what it meant.

I think that the most important here was what you were talking about. Was it, for example, about giving presents, snow, meeting with the family? It's all conected with Christmas but he wasn't asking about them directly, more in context.
For instance: if you love buying present and giving them to you family, Christmas is a special moment when you do it and everybody apprieciates it. It's naturally saying"you must love Christmas", when you acctually do because of things I've mentioned before.

'You've got to love Christmas' means the same as 'You have to love Christmas' - no idea, though what he meant here.. Looking at the whole situation it just doesn't make any sense. I'm really confussed. You should've asked him.. maybe you will if you meet him again
